29 pirate suspects detained
A Russian destroyer has seized a vessel with 29 suspected pirates on board off the coast of Somalia, Russian news agencies reported yesterday, citing the Defense Ministry.
The warship Admiral Panteleyev captured the suspected pirate vessel on Tuesday and its crew confiscated automatic rifles, pistols and ammunition found on board, state-run RIA-Novosti and other news agencies reported.
