US Army enlists Facebook, Twitter

China Daily | Updated: 2009-04-29 07:45

WASHINGTON: The US Army said on Monday it had launched a fan page on Facebook and established an office for online "social media", despite security rules that limit soldiers' access to networking sites.

"Young people today don't watch the evening news. Their friends are sharing information through Twitter, or Facebook," Kyzer said.
