Animation festival begins
The 5th China International Cartoon and Animation Festival (CICAF) kicked off yesterday in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province.
With an exhibition area of 60,000 sq m, the six-day event is expected to register 700,000 visitors, with 322 institutions attending the festival. About 20 events such as a "Monkey King" awards night, the 2009 China Cosplay Super Show and an industrial investment negotiation symposium will be held during the exhibition.
