Quanjude Peking Roast Duck Restaurant's newly opened Shuangyushu branch (全聚德双榆树店) has organized a range of special activities for the month of May. Customers presenting their receipts from May 1-3 will be entered into a lucky draw and there will be special presents for every mom who dines on May 10. Visitors on Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on May 28, can make their own zongzi (rice wrapped in reed leaves) and take them away.

The restaurant has created 19 new dishes, with an emphasis on health and nutrition. The eight new cold starters include sour and sweet tasting yams, blueberry and apricot kernels, walnut kernels with vegetables, duck with celery and duck giblets with peanuts. The 10-plus new hot dishes are a mix of Chinese and Western dishes, including Octopus paired with duck giblet and cooked on teppanyaki (铁板飘香双脆); duck legs roasted with a secret recipe (秘制烤鸭腿); duck chest prepared on a skewer (串炸鸭胸); and duck liver prepared with beef cubes, seasoned with spicy Sichuan chili (鸭肝牛肉粒). The restaurant takes up the 3rd and 4th floors of Henrun International Building. There are 32 private rooms and a public area decorated in a traditional Chinese style.
