Zhenru Town could revive commercial market: Experts

SHANGHAI: The latest multi-billion yuan project by Hong Kong business tycoon Li Ka-shing could help revive the commercial property market, experts said yesterday.

The project titled Zhenru Town and developed by Li's Cheung Kong Holdings and Hutchison Whampoa will cover 1.14 million sq m in Shanghai's northwestern Putuo district.

Construction began yesterday and it will contain office buildings, residential properties, and hotels when it is completed in 2018.
