Oysters and eggs put kitchens out of fashion

Taiwan's exquisite food will definitely threaten your waistline.
My friend jokes there are more places to dine than trees. Furthermore, it's not just quantity but quality, so more and more locals have abandoned their kitchens and dine out all the time due to the plethora of reasonably priced restaurants.
Unlike Hong Kong, where Cantonese cuisine dominates, Taiwan's is far more diverse, offering from Peking Duck, Inner Mongolian hotpot, Sichuan dumplings and Hangzhou steamed mini-dumplings to Italian pizza, Japanese sushi and Vietnamese flour noodles. The problem is not so much finding what you want but deciding where to eat it.
