Ex-official investigated
Wu Quanshu, a former housing management official in Wenzhou city in Zhejiang province, is being investigated over corruption allegations, Xinhua news agency reported.
He is suspected of dereliction of duty and financial misconduct during his tenure from 1999 to 2005. Dozens of local government officials were reported to have unduly benefited from a housing project, when 140 some flats were priced and sold without government endorsement.
