Modern drama Sound of the Wind is writer Mai Jia's latest work. Mai is best known for Plot Against, which won him the seventh Mao Dun Literature Award, one of China's most prestigious prizes for full-length novels. Sound of the Wind is a story about underground intelligence in Hangzhou in 1941, when the city was under the rule of Japanese aggressors.
