Commute to birthday bash delayed for honest reason

A 73-year-old man surnamed Zheng showed up late at his own birthday banquet after he found a bankbook and decided to return it to the rightful owner in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province, on Sunday.

Zheng, 73, a retired railway worker, found the document, which showed a balance of 80,000 yuan, along with some insurance papers worth another 80,000 yuan on a bus. He was going to the banquet organized by his children at the time and decided to keep his guests waiting.
