Guangxi volunteers to teach Chinese abroad

NANNING: More than 100 volunteers will teach Chinese to students in four Southeast Asian nations as part of a yearlong cultural exchange.

The 119 teachers, chosen from 182 candidates in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, will leave late next month.

Most teachers are from the Guangxi University for Nationalities and study Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai or other Asian languages.
