Sin City has a bet each way

Mention Las Vegas and what comes to mind is casinos.

But this American city, located in Nevada state, is much more than a high-end gambling center, says Rafael Villanueva, director of international sales of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA).

Villanueva was recently on a tour to Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, to promote Las Vegas amid a world financial crisis that has battered the tourism industry.
