Skywalk a Chinese dream come true

Visitors to Las Vegas usually also tour the Grand Canyon, where they can try the Grand Canyon Skywalk.

Since its opening in March 2007, the Grand Canyon Skywalk, a U-shaped glass bridge suspended 1,200 m above the Colorado River on the very edge of the Grand Canyon, has wowed more than 200,000 visitors.

The Skywalk is not directly above the main canyon, Granite Gorge, which contains the Colorado River. Instead it extends over a side canyon and affords a view into the main canyon.
