A group of veterans has been visiting the grave of a donkey in Dalian, Liaoning province, for the past 30 years because it was instrumental in helping them during the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea (1950-53).

After the soldiers ammunitions ran out, a soldier used a donkey to transport more ammo to them. However, he fainted but the donkey kept on going and took the ammo to the soldiers, and helped prevented enemies from advancing.
