Huge crowds create havoc for zoo's animals

A sudden surge in visitors to the Zhengzhou Zoo in Henan province terrified many animals and some fell ill while others were disgruntled or suffered a loss of appetite during the Qingming festival that ended Tuesday.

Some animals fell down and others exhibited less than normal willingness to perform. Some ate waste, plastic bags and bottles tourists pelted at them.
