If wishes were horses...

My wedding took place inside San Francisco's city hall in 2000. Right after the registration, the lady asked us whether we wanted to exchange vows. We said, "Why not." And she said we could use the rotunda right beneath the dome.
So, we did just that. It was a three-minute affair, with only one other person in our entourage, a friend invited not to witness the moment but to take photos for us. It turned out his photo-taking skill was not up to par and all photos, except one, were out of focus.
The city hall officials could have suspected my marriage was fake, just for the sake of immigration.
