The Beatles' entire record catalogue is to be released in digitally re-mastered form for the first time later this year, their music company said on Tuesday.
The 14 records are set for worldwide CD release on September 9, the same day as a video game of the Fab Four, titled The Beatles: Rock Band, said Apple Corps Ltd. and EMI Music.
The albums have been re-mastered by engineers at EMI's Abbey Road Studios in London over four years, using state-of-the-art recording technology combined with vintage studio equipment.
