Finally, Linfen gets leader
The provincial Party committee in Shanxi yesterday appointed former secretary Yangquan Xie Hai the new Party chief in Linfen, a position vacant for more than six months as frequent coalmine accidents in the city were scaring candidates away.
Former incumbent Xia Zhengui was suspended on Sept 20 last year on account of a mine accident killing at least 270.
