Spears seeks to widen world tour

Lawyers for troubled singer Britney Spears are hoping to get her father's permission to expand her current world tour.

During a court hearing in Los Angeles yesterday, attorneys for the pop singer and Spears' father and conservator, James Spears, discussed the idea of expanding her current Circus tour to include dates in Australia and Europe. Nothing was decided, however, and another hearing was scheduled for next week.
