Coalmine death toll rises
The death toll of a coalmine flood in Heilongjiang province rose to 10 after three more bodies were recovered, local authorities said yesterday.
The chances of survival were slim for two miners still trapped underground at the Jinli Coalmine in Jixi city, deputy secretary-general of Jixi's municipal government Fang Dongchu said.
