Bitter pill to swallow for Bayern coach

BERLIN: Bayern Munich coach Jurgen Klinsmann admitted his side's 5-1 hammering at the hands of new Bundesliga leaders Wolfsburg was a bitter pill to swallow ahead of their Champions League tie at Barcelona.

Bayern travel to Barcelona's Nou Camp stadium for Wednesday's Champions League quarterfinal, first-leg tie and Saturday's embarrassing reversal by Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga has done nothing for the German team's confidence.

"We need to look forward and turn the corner as quickly as possible," said Klinsmann. "We have to swallow this bitter pill for now. Obviously, we'll discuss the mistakes we made, but we'll turn our focus to Barcelona immediately.
