Residents pelt criminals over senseless killings

Two crooks who robbed a jewelry store in Changling, Jilin province, and brutally killed two workers, including a pregnant woman, were brought to justice at the store on Monday. Some 20,000 residents flocked to the shop to express their anger, and on Wednesday, they pelted them with eggs and stones.

Fang Liye, 26, and Yu Peng, 21, from the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, stole 450,000 yuan ($65,832) worth of gold necklaces on Mar 13 and killed the woman and her brother.
