Stocks end flat
Chinese stocks pulled back slightly on Friday, despite data that strengthened hopes for an economic recovery, as investors took profits on big gains over the past several weeks.
The Shanghai Composite Index hit a fresh seven-month high of 2,456.811 points in early trade but ended down 0.23 percent at 2,419.78. Turnover remained extremely heavy.
