Mixed moods

Mao Live House is offering a mixed party tonight, with four local bands - CMCB, Dasiyuan, Longjing, and Tangrenjie - in attendance.

CMCB is perhaps the most influential rap band in China; Dasiyuan is considered the trendiest hip-hop and electronic band; Tangrenjie's forte is new metal; and Longjing is a rap group with a typical Beijing flavor.

The four bands will mix rap with rock 'n' roll, to express their love for the city and country.
