Brothers from Broadway to Beijing

Last fall, Peter Walters teamed up with Beijing International Theatre Experience (BITE) producer, Anna Grace, to bring the Broadway play Orphans to the Beijing stage for an English speaking audience.

"After seeing Orphans in college, I changed my major to theater," says Walters, a Beijing-based screenwriter and film producer.

The two-act drama centers on two orphaned brothers from North Philadelphia who've slipped through the cracks of American society. The true-to-life drama written by Lyle Kessler is loaded with weapons, violence, and foul language. (Children are prohibited from attending).
