TOKYO: Japan's figure skating icon Mao Asada, who was dethroned by South Korean rival Kim Yu-na at the weekend's World Championships, said Wednesday she was looking to fight back at the Vancouver Olympics next year.

"As the Olympics is drawing near, I want to do my best in college without loosening up," Asada said as she enrolled at a university in her hometown of Nagoya at the start of a new academic year in Japan.
