Listings: Xi'an

Russian pop singer Vitas will start his 2009 China tour in Xi'an. Born in 1981, Vitas became famous through the song Opera 2 and has amazed global audiences with his high-pitched voice. The latest concert will not only include Opera 2, The Star and songs from album Return Home, but also music from the opera Lucia di Lammermoor. He will also sing old Russian songs in Chinese.

Vitas and his orchestra will travel from Xi'an to six other cities around the country until early May.
