The acrobatic performance Illusive Nine Songs is inspired by Warring States Periods poet Qu Yuan's famous work On the Gist of Poetry of Chu The Nine Songs, in which he expressed his patriotism and extolled the soldiers who gave their lives for the country.

The poetry is at the core of the acrobatics and the show leads into a heroic story blending dance, music, sculpture, painting, fashion and modern lighting effects.
