Man detonates bomb, kills himself

URUMQI: A worker demanding unpaid wages detonated a bomb in an office building, killing himself and injuring two in the capital of Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region yesterday, police said.

Han Wushun, 42, from Sichuan province, detonated the explosives at 2:10 pm, police said.

He was asking Xinjiang Beixin Road and Bridge Construction to pay him 4,500 yuan ($662) in unpaid wages, police said.
