Woman shoots facility staff

A woman, angry at being evicted from an assisted-living facility, shot and wounded the facility's manager when he and other staff members arrived at her door, authorities said.

Police responding to the gunfire on Tuesday shot the woman when she ignored officers' warnings and tried to leave in a vehicle, Royal Canadian Mounted Police Cpl. Peter Thiessen said.
