Kublai Khan's drinking party

An ongoing exhibition at the Capital Museum titled, Memory for Blue and White Porcelain - Yuan Dynasty (AD 1271-1368) Blue and White Porcelain Culture Exhibition, displays 73 pieces contributed by 25 domestic and overseas museums and institutes.

The blue-and-white porcelains of the Yuan Dynasty are valued as much for their aesthetic quality as for their rarity.

In ancient Chinese culture, blue was an auspicious color symbolizing spring, youth and the dragon.
