New division takes flight
A new defense division under the Aviation Industry Corporation of China was established yesterday in Beijing, following the merger last year of China's two major aviation industry players.
The new division aims to avoid duplication and enhance China's capability in developing and manufacturing aeronautic weapons, division chief Wang Yawei said.
