Thief uses counterfeit notes to pay fine in court
A suspected thief was re-arrested after he paid a 1,000-yuan ($146) fine with counterfeit notes in Beijing.
Diao, 61, of Changping district, admitted to stealing cables last year with a value of 3,000 yuan and agreed to pay the fine in exchange for a less severe penalty.
