Cross-Straits Forum

The Cross-Straits Forum will be held on May 15-22 in four cities of Fujian province, Deng Benyuan, director of the Taiwan affairs office of the Fujian provincial government, said yesterday. Organized by the Fujian provincial government and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, the event will have a total of 18 exhibitions and shows featuring trade and cultural exchanges. "We will take the opportunity to make the forum a new platform to further promote trade and communication with our fellows in Taiwan," Deng said.
