So bad, you can't miss it

The thriller, Alone in the Dark, is a must-see, if for no other reason than it's been shot to pieces by every critic. Based on a popular video game, it is the story of a detective of the paranormal and his investigation of the chaos being wreaked by the spirits of an ancient civilization. The film was released in 2005, after which its director Uwe Bollhas was widely referred to as the worst filmmaker in the world. The New York Times was equally generous: "This horror film spun off from an old Atari video game is so inept on every level, you wonder why the distributor didn't release it straight to video, or better yet, toss it directly into the trash". Voters on the rottentomatoes.com website gave it an average score of 1.7/10. Bollhas's defenders, however, say his films are easy to watch, even though they might be devoid of artistic merit. The man himself said in an interview early last year: "They can kill me every day of their life - as long as I'm able to make movies, I'm happy." Alone in the Dark hits cinemas across town this weekend and stars Christian Slater, Tara Reid and Stephen Dorff,

Rock Climber, an action-adventure movie by director Oleg Shtrom, takes viewers across the globe and tells the story of delivering an important message from an ancient civilization to the modern world. The movie follows a girl from Moscow, who is a connoisseur of ancient languages and a rock climber, and finds herself in the middle of incredible adventures all over the world.

Veteran Hong Kong actor Chow Yun-fat joined in the movie, Dragonball Evolution which is adapted from the manga created by Akira Toriyama. The work was also turned into a Japanese anime series that played all over the world. It tells the story of an alien sent to destroy Earth, who has a change of heart and decides to join the humans in their fight against various aliens and bad guys.
