A general rise in prices in Beijing housing projects is an ominous sign for the market after its recent cooling, says an article on the website www.qianlong.com. Following is an excerpt:

The prices of dozens of housing projects in Beijing have risen more than 10 percent following a post-Spring Festival boom in sales, claim some developers.

But experts have warned it will make these houses impossible to sell if the market is not active enough to support the price hike.
