In this year's annual session of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), some deputies have proposed that the government should extend the duration of the spring break and cut daily working hours from eight to six.

According to the members, the move could further stimulate domestic demand and prove a breather for the country's transportation sector.
