John Mayer is set to splash out $2.8 million on an engagement ring for Jennifer Aniston.
The singer, who is said to have presented his actress girlfriend with a commitment ring during their Valentine's Day break in Barbados, has approached top US jeweler Lorraine Schwartz to create the perfect piece of jewelry for him to pop the question with.
