Peking Opera Red Cliff will be restaged at the National Center for the Performing Arts. This Beijing Peking Opera Troupe version shows innovation both in story line and characterization. To cater to the tastes of young people, some major scenes, including Borrowing Arrows by Scarecrow-soldiers on Boats and Battle of Red Cliff, have been revised to make them more lyrical.
