The name of the drama Xiao Luobotou (Little Turnip Head) is based on a real person, Song Zhenzhong, a prototype figure of well-known novel Red Rock. Since he had a big head and small body, he earned the nickname, Xiao Luobotou. Song was born in Xi'an, Shaanxi province in 1941. He was put in prison along with his parents by the Kuomintang, when he was only eight months old. In 1949 when he was only eight years old, Song with his parents was killed by Kuomintang.
