Chambers welcome in Berlin, says ISTAF organizer

BERLIN: The organizer of Berlin's IAAF Golden League meeting said Tuesday he would accommodate controversial sprinter Dwain Chambers for this summer's meet despite the British athlete's previous doping suspension.

"The inequality of his treatment strikes me as disturbing," Gerhard Janetzky, the organizer of Berlin's prestigious ISTAF meeting, told German daily newspaper Der Tagesspiegel.

"I am surprised that Chambers seems to be regarded as the root of all evils.
