Liaoning link-up: 'Five Points, One Line, Six Mayors'

The "Five Points, One Line" strategy is set to revolutionize the economies of six cities in the northeastern Liaoning province. This ambitious scheme will see the six cities united to form an economic powerhouse, capable of competing at global level.

The China Daily caught up the mayors of the six cities in question - Yingkou, Panjin, Jinzhou, Huludao, Dalian and Dandong - and asked them just what this multi-billion yuan development would mean for each of their cities when the project is finally completed.
