Shenzhen inks foreign deals

SHENZHEN: Nine overseas investors signed deals yesterday with the local government for new or additional investments of $230 million in Shenzhen.
The companies include Japan's Fuji Xerox and UK's Coats, the world's largest manufacturer of industrial sewing thread and consumer needlecraft products.
Among the nine projects, the government of Poland, chambers of commerce and banking conglomerates have jointly set up a business center in Shenzhen to provide free consultancy services to investors.
