Protester uses custard

A protester opposed to the expansion of Heathrow airport threw green custard at Business Secretary Peter Mandelson on Friday as he arrived at a meeting in central London promoting low-carbon industries.

The protester, Leila Deen, 29, said: "I'm involved with (environmental group) Plane Stupid because they are trying to stop aviation expanding so that we can begin to even attempt to reach those carbon targets that our government has signed up to," she told the BBC after the incident.
