US allies can't use base
Kyrgyzstan, which last month decided to evict the United States from a military air base, on Friday canceled similar agreements with other members of the US-led coalition fighting Taliban insurgents in Afghanistan.
The Kyrgyz parliament voted almost unanimously to cancel the agreements that allowed a number of European nations as well as Australia, South Korea and New Zealand to use the Manas air base, a key staging point for US troops in Afghanistan.
