Shaping the world around us

The third Beijing International Movie Week begins this weekend with a selection of independent films from around the world.

The more than 50 films include short films, dramas and documentaries from countries such as Australia, Canada, South Korea, Japan, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Bulgaria, Portugal, the United States and China.

The following are some highlights of dates and venues of this most diverse, ambitious, and inclusive of independent movie-screening events in Beijing.
