Heart-felt thanks
Duozuo Japanese style Fine Cuisine (多佐和风精致料理店) was recently opened by the Melody Group, one of the biggest Karaoke chains in Beijing. Duozuo - it means "please" in Japanese - is a middle to high-end restaurant, big enough to seat 300 people, with 10 private rooms, including two for teppanyaki.
You can choose from two set menus. The one for 258 yuan per person has more than 200 choices of teppanyaki, shabu shabu, Japanese hot pot, and a free flow of alcoholic and soft drinks. The menu at 138 yuan per person, available only for lunch, has nearly 100 choices and also includes drinks.
One good choice is the seafood platter, which has sea urchin, Norwegian salmon, Alaskan snow crab, sweet prawn, shellfish from the North Pole and white tuna. Other popular choices are fresh oyster, braised chicken with shark's fin, brown stewed baby oyster, seafood and matsutake mushroom soup, braised lobster with cheese, and roast sea snail.
