New trick for celibate pandas

A Thai zoo has resorted to artificial insemination of its giant pandas after pornography and special diets failed to inspire the celibate pair.

Chiang Mai zoo's Chuang Chuang and his partner Lin Hui, have showed no interest in reproducing since they arrived from China in 2003. According to a statement the artificial insemination was conducted last month. The zoo must now wait up to three months to find out if the method has worked.
