Ousted US governor to write book

Disgraced former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich signed a "six-figure" deal on Monday to write a book about his rise and fall and the dark side of politics, his publicist said.

The twice-elected Chicago Democrat "plans on exposing the dark side of politics that he witnessed on both the state and national level," publicist Glenn Selig said in a statement.
