Brown heads to US
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown was heading to the US where he said he would press President Barack Obama on the need for global action to counter the economic crisis.
Brown was leaving yesterday and was to attend a White House meeting today. He is also giving a speech before both chambers of Congress.
