Internet hoax leads to 10-day jail term

A man was detained for 10 days after he was accused of disturbing public order by spreading false information on the Internet.

Liu Zhengjiang wrote a post on a popular Internet forum saying that more than 80 underworld figures were committing crimes in Changchun, Jilin province, which led to panic among some on the Internet.
